You want to be an affiliate marketer. It’s a great way to start making money online. It’s something that you can get started with right away. The Affiliate Bootcamp Summit is a great way to start.

I often say it’s one of the best ways to make money on line, because it you don’t have to create your own product, you don’t have to worry about manufacturing. Shipping and handling. Refunds, or any other hassles.

All you do is find a product you believe in, see if they have an affiliate or partner program and sign up. Then promote that said product however you feel fit to, and you get a commission!

Easy peasy.

One of the best products to promote, in my humble opinion, is Russell Brunson’s Clickfunnels. It’s an easy to use, super versatile web page creator with a tight focus on creating funnels to guide the customer on a specific journey. It has built in payment processor, let’s you create membership areas, has a kick-ass affiliate setup so if you eventually sell your own product you can have others promote for you! And and many other features.

This one platform came out of nowhere a few years ago and took the world by storm. Not only is the platform fantastic to use, Clickfunnels has one of the best affiliate programs you can find!

Offering 40% recurring monthly commissions on the Clickfunnels service, as well as having tons of other products, services, and courses you can also promote for upsell opportunities to make even more money! Oh and did I mention they’ll even pay for your dream car?

Yes, Clickfunnels truly is a marketers dream come true.

But what if you don’t have a ton of time on your hands? I get it, you’re a busy guy or gal. You’ve got a day job working long, hard hours. You have a loving family that wants to spend time with you. You’ve got obligations to keep and only so many hours in the day.

Well Jacob Caris was a busy guy as well. And he managed to squeeze in a bit of time here and there and became a Clickfunnels Super Affiliate. Let’s learn a little more about him.

Who is Jacob Caris?

Jacob Caris is from the land down under Brisbane, Austrailia. He worked in Corporate Finance for 8 years. He routinely worked 80 hours a week! That didn’t leave much time for anything else.

He wanted a change, and more free time, but knew it wasn’t going to happen unless he made the effort. He needed to at least do a little bit each day to make it happen.

Jacob started and grew his affiliate business in 2017/2018. By August 2018 he won his dream car. The next month he quit his job to focus on affiliate marketing full time.

When Russell Brunson he decided to revamp his free Affiliate Bootcamp course as a Summit he asked Jacob to share his plan to becoming a full time affiliate marketer in 100 days.

Jacob agreed and we get to benefit from his teachings!

So without further ado…

How To Become A Super Affiliate When You Have A TON Of Other Commitments And Almost NO Time In Your Day

Jacob bases his strategy on these Fundamentals and Key Lessons

  • • Value, Value, Value
  • • Differentiate, be creative
  • • Learn from Others Mistakes
  • • Consistency
  • • Trial & Error

He breaks down everything on a week-by-week basis so you know just what to do and when to do it.

Week 1 – Branding

There are two paths you can choose when building your brand: Personal vs Business (More anonymity). Regardless of which one you choose make sure you are consistent across all platforms.

Personal brand is probably best because people will connect with you. Incorporate your story, be relatable, and build rapport.

Setup a simple placeholder funnel promoting the Affiliate Bootcamp and get people to join you on the journey to becoming a Clickfunnels Affiliate.

Week 2 – The New Center Of Your Business

Create a Private Facebook Group (People spend a LOT of time on Facebook, Reach crushes Fan Page. It offers Security & Exclusivity for Members, Culture & Community.

Here are some key setup tips for your Facebook Group

  • • “Closed” Group
  • • Group Name: Include Branding (BONUS: Relevant Keywords)
  • • Cover Photo: Big & Bold
  • • Use 3 Questions (for people requesting access to group): Capture Email & Messenger Bot Details. Use Manychat for people to request access to the group, and send a password.
  • • Welcome Post: Story about the group + Simple CTA

Profile Setup (Capture Potential Group Members)\

  • • Cover Photo: Picture of you, Logo, CTA to group
  • • Bio: Brief description about you / Your brand & CTA to group “I teach affiliate marketers how to start & scale to $10k+ per month Join my FREE Facebook Group!”
  • • Feature Photo: CTA to Free Facebook Group
  • • Website Link: Link to Group

We need to give it a jolt start with our first 50 – 100 members. The best and easiest way to do this is to leverage your current network.

Politely reach out to your existing messenger contacts & FB friends & ask if they would be interested in joining. If you don’t have any contacts, you need to get active in other groups really fast.

Start building relationships and networking with people. When you’ve spoken to people for a bit, you can ask if they’d like to join. You should always be networking.

In addition, a simple post on your Facebook wall telling your story and why you created the group will prompt the people on your friends list in the niche to join. We just need to get the first 50 – 100 as quickly as possible so we can get it off the ground. So start hustling!

My Recommended Beginner Content Schedule

  • • Go Live at least 3 Times Per Week. (When I first started I went live for over 40 days in a row and it shot my group to the 1K mark very quickly)
  • • Produce 2 written posts per week. Supplement your livestreams with thoughtful written posts about your results, lifestyle and keep sharing value.

With both of these forms of content you need to train people to engage. Include very simple calls to action such as “comment ‘yes’ if you agree”.

If you need content ideas, whenever you’re reading or researching something, write down the key takeaways. What was the topic, what did you learn and what was they key takeaway. This will become your content that you can use. Make sure to give credit to the source.

You can also go to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pages of Google search results and you will find lots of content that most people wouldn’t read because they don’t go past page one!

Week 3 – Video Killed The Radio Star

Leverage a branded YouTube channel to grow our Brand & Business. Re-Purpose Facebook Live videos from our group.

Do product reviews & walkthroughs, Brand journey & Learning videos. Recommendation: 1 Quality video per week (in addition to repurposed FB Live vids).

Week 15 – Helicopter Perspective

Take a week to reflect on the last 15 weeks & what you have achieved.

  • Personally: What have you learned? What new skills have you acquired? What mindset and perspective shifts have you had? Where do you see your online business heading in the coming weeks, months and years?

  • Strategically: What’s working best for you? What fits your style of operating? What fits your lifestyle? What audience is responding best to your content?

  • Financially: Do you have any unprofitable ads, ad-sets / ad groups or campaigns you need to cull or tweak? Have you signed up for any new software or tools over the past 100 days that are costing money but you simply aren’t using?
